Description

Each day our communities are becoming more and more diverse, and on many dimensions. From racial and ethnic diversity to neurodiversity, each of our students comes to us with a unique background and a unique set of strengths. What does equity and inclusion look like for neurodiverse learners and their educators in classrooms on the North Shore of Chicago? Do our classrooms support all learners regardless of their currently apparent ability?

On Tuesday, April 9th, 2024, Lake Forest Country Day School, in collaboration with Illinois Digital Educators Alliance, North Suburbs Chapter is hosting North Shore educators on our campus as we ask these questions and more. Joining us in the discussion will be, professor, author, and consultant to top schools around the world, Lee Ann Jung, founder of Lead Inclusion, to kick off the event. The evening will wrap-up after two rounds of presentations and discussions by area educators. Snacks will be served to power you throughout the evening. We hope you’ll join us and contribute to the conversation!

This event is free, but registration is required. PDHs will be awarded by IDEA to Illinois educators attending this event.
