ideaU 2021 FAQ

• How long will sessions be available to view?

ideaU watch-on-demand sessions and the recorded keynote and thought leader sessions will be available to view through Friday, August 27, 2021.

• Will live sessions be recorded and available to view later?

The live keynote and thought leader sessions will be recorded and can be viewed later. You do not have to watch live to earn your PDH credit.

Please note: The Live with Apple sessions will NOT be recorded. You must watch live to view this session and to receive credit. 

• Do all sessions open on Monday, Aug. 9?

No. Only Monday’s sessions will be available on Aug. 9. Each day’s access page will open at 7:30 a.m. the day-of.

For example, Wednesday’s content will not be available for viewing until 7:30 a.m. that morning. Then, it will be available through Aug. 27, 2021.

• How will I get my PDH credit?

For all watch-on-demand sessions, there will be a QR code at the end of the video. Pause the video and scan the QR code with the camera app on your smartphone. A link will automatically pop-up on your phone. Click that link, and you will be directed to the PDH form.

If you are able to join the live sessions as they are happening, an IDEA team member will share a link to the PDH form in the Zoom chat box. If you watch the keynote and/or thought leader live sessions later, there will be a QR code at the end to scan.

• How do you access the sessions?

1. Login to your member account at ideaillinois.org.
2. Once you are logged in, click this link: ideaillinois.org/ideaulive.
3. Check out the info on this page, scroll down to the buttons for each day.
4. Click on the day’s page you’d like to access.
5. All links to watch-on-demand and live sessions will be available on each day’s page.

• How do I access the session if I am not an ideaU member?

In order to access ideaU, you must be an IDEA member. We will automatically create your membership once you register for ideaU. Don’t worry - membership is 100% FREE. You should receive an email with login information prior to ideaU.

• I am not receiving emails with each day’s session info. What should I do?
